Technology Talk
This site provides useful information and links to our students, parents, and my colleagues. Students can play safe, online games that will reinforce skills taught in their classrooms. Parents have access to resources that they can use with their child(ren) at home. Fellow teachers also have access to educational resources that they could use in their classrooms. 
We use our Technology Lab to introduce, develop, and reinforce skills such as: keyboarding, manipulation of various programs (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Photostory), and how to safely surf the Internet. The Tech Lab is also used for Math intervention. Students visit various, safe sites selected by me. These sites were chosen because they address the skills that need to be reinforced, they are interactive, and are cost effective to the school and parents (FREE!!!)
